Linn County Public Health is observing elevated ambient levels of fine particulate matter above the daily air quality health standard of 35 micrograms per cubic meter. Open burning is prohibited until the Air Quality Index is below 100.

Linn County Public Health is issuing an air quality advisory based on elevated fine particulate levels observed over the last 24 hours. It is projected that particulate matter levels will remain at moderate levels for the next 24-48 hours.
