New Air Construction Permit Application Forms Now Available

August 04, 2015

With significant input from stakeholders, DNR worked to fulfill your request for easier-to-use application forms. The project is now complete and 22 new or updated application forms for air quality construction permits are now available. The new forms deliver significant revisions in both content and layout. Based on your recommendations, the new forms and process should be easier to complete, reduce Linn County's need to request additional information from applicants, and reflect current rules and regulations.

Find the new forms at http://linncleanair.org/Content/Business-Industry/Resources.aspx. If you need assistance completing an application, please call (319) 892-6000.

The old construction permit application forms have been removed from the website and will no longer be accepted. Using the new and updated forms should streamline the application process.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, Aug. 26. That’s the tentative date for training on the new application forms provided by DNR. Plan to attend in person at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Air Quality Bureau, in Windsor Heights or via webinar. Watch for additional details and registration.

If you have questions or comments on the new forms, please contact Shane Dodge, Air Quality Supervisor, at (319) 892-6015 or Shane.Dodge@linncounty.org.
